चकरी की प्यार भरी कहानी by सेमवाल जी की जुबानी

चांदपुर गाँव में रहती है एक नर्तकी जिसका नाम है चकरी। चकरी के चर्चे पूरे इलाके में हैं। उसकी सुंदरता पर चाँदपुर के ठाकुर लोहिताक्ष की बुरी नजर है। वो उसे हर हाल में पाना चाहता है, पर चकरी किसी और से प्यार करती है वह है, ठाकुर का बड़ा बेटा चंद्रकांत। 

चंद्रकांत दिखने में बहुत सुंदर है, चौड़ी छाती लंबी मूछें रोज अखाड़े में छ छ घंटे कसरत करता है, इसीलिए चकरी उस पर फिदा है, लोहिताक्ष को भी यह बात पता है, पर वह उसे पाना चाहता है, इस बात पर लोहिताक्ष की ठकुराइन के साथ कई बार कहासुनी भी हो चुकी है, पर वह कहावत है ना,  "कामातुराणां भयं न लज्जा" कामातुर व्यक्ति के लिए क्या भय और क्या लज्जा। 

पूरे चांदपुर में इस बात के चर्चे हैं की चंद्रकांत चकरी का चक्कर चल रहा है। चकरी जिस भी गांव में नाचने के कार्यक्रम में भाग लेती चंद्रकांत वहां पहले से ही कुंडली मारकर बैठ जाता। ठाकुरों के कुल से हैं तो कोई कुछ कह भी नहीं सकता। उसके दो चेले चपाटे भी हैं, बिगू और पैप्सी इन दोनों की भी बात निराली है बिगू ठाकुर को सारी रिपोर्ट देता है और पैप्सी चंद्रकांत को दोनों तरफ से ये दोनों माल लूटते हैं और शाम को अहाते पर खूब शराब पीते हैं।

ठाकुर ने एक तरकीप लगाई और चकरी के बाप से चकरी को दो तोले सोना, पांच मवेसी, तीन लाख नगद, एक किला जमीन बंधवाकर खरीद लाया। चंद्रकांत को भी बात पता न थी पर बिगू की ही कारगुजारी थी तो उसे सब पता था। उस शाम तीनों अहाते पर शराब पी रहे थे और नशे में बात चकरी पर आ गई चंद्रकांत चुप हो गया। तभी बिगू के मुंह से गलती से खरीदने वाली बात निकल गई। इस बात को चार दिन ही गए थे ठकुराइन को भी पता था घर के पीछे ही ठाकुर ने चकरी को रखवाया था। 

चंद्रकांत उठा और नशे में अपने कट्टे को लेकर चुपके से घर के पीछे वाले कमरे में गया खिड़की से देखा कि ठाकुर और चकरी आपस में लिपटे हुवे हैं। वहीं से गोली दाग दी.... चंद्रकांत जेल इन है और चकरी छोटी ठकुराइन हो छज्जेइन बैठ हुक्का पी रही है।
